After a research project into barriers to certain women’s participation in the ACTION courses, animators offered an adapted version of the course to 262 women from diverse communities. Furthermore, five women of various origins were trained to become ACTION instructors during this time. Our objective was to ensure that ACTION (and all programs at the Centre) are accessible to all women, in an environment that is free of all discrimination. Although the grants are finished now, we will continue this work.

Our programs support individuals and communities in empowering themselves, increasing their independence, and fighting against prejudice.
